We are all called to be a ‘Beacon of Hope’ to others. Beacon has a shining light in the darkness. We are beacons, and light is hope. Darkness symbolizes other people’s life situations that are covered by anxiety, despair, confusion, loneliness, sadness, and loss of hope. We are here to bring the light of hope to those in need. Even in the darkest life, the light of hope guides them towards dawn embrace. We help people to find the light.
It doesn’t have to be by doing great things. But through our presence and patience, we listen to their outpourings while praying for them. In this jubilee year of hope, Pope Francis invites us to always hope amidst the uncertainty of the world and the future. We can be the light for others, and we will need some light from them one day. Where there is a light, there is hope. We believe that hope never disappoints us.
