Being a missionary is not easy. Every step I take is an ongoing process. Living in Australia is not something to be proud of, but it is the first step in learning more about life and being grateful for the blessings God has given me.
After living here for almost a year, many experiences have made me much stronger, but some have made me feel like giving up. However, I am grateful for every faith experience I have had on this spiritual journey. I have felt God’s overwhelming presence throughout my life, especially during my mission in Australia. I have received countless blessings, prayers, support, joy, and sharing from the good people God has provided in this country, from my congregation, and from the community where I grew up.
I interpret this journey as a life that is always learning, growing, and being grateful. This is a three ideas are deeply connected in my life. They guide me to become a better person and to appreciate every part of my journey, Bottom of Form and make me a happy, inspiring, and prosperous person.
Learning is not only about gaining knowledge from books or school, like an English course, but also about understanding myself, my mistakes, and my experiences. Every situation, whether positive or challenging, teaches me something valuable.
Through learning, I can grow. Growth happens when I step out of my comfort zone, face difficulties, and try again after failure. Each challenge helps me become stronger, more confident, and more patient. Even when progress feels slow, I know that every small step forward matters.
Being grateful reminds me to appreciate how far I have come. Gratitude helps me focus on the good things in my life, including the people who support me and the lessons I have learned along the way. When I am grateful, I feel more positive and motivated to continue learning and growing.
“Success isn’t just about what you get, but also about who accompanies you through the process and who you become.” Thank you, God, because of You, I was able to get through this process well. Thank you, Australia, for being part of my vocation journey as a Sister of Jesus Mary Joseph.
